The United Nations Convention relating to the Status of Refugees (1951)

The United Nations Convention relating to the Status of Refugees is the main convention of international refugee protection. It was amended by the 1967 Protocol, which removed the geographic and temporal limits of the 1951 Convention and thus gave the convention universal coverage.
